Bingo Winners at First Ever Gaming Intelligence Awards

It looks like it’s great news for bingo fans because at the first ever Gaming Intelligence Awards a bingo provider has been declared the winner.

The ceremony, which took place at the ICE Totally Gaming event at the famous London Excel Centre between the 3rd and 4th of February saw online bingo provider Bet365 and software giant Playtech scooping up awards.

Bet365 won ‘Sports Betting Operator of the Year’ and ‘Socially Responsible Company of the Year’; whilst Playtech took home two awards for ‘Poker Supplier of the Year’ and ‘Bingo Supplier of the Year’. With 14 awards being given out in total between those two days, these bingo veterans are the only gambling brands to take home two awards from the event, which is quite an achievement for them.

The whole event was regarded as a big success by everyone who attended and Gaming Intelligence Editor-In-Chief Bobby Mamudi said: “I’m thrilled to reveal these new awards for the industries best performers.”

He continued: “We’ve built our integrity from our editorial products and the awards follow the same policy.”

Mr. Mamudi then went on to say how the current gambling industry demanded an end to what he referred to as ‘cronyism’ and that their awards event ended that. He finished by congratulating all of the brands and providers that took part in the event.

A Follow Up On Playtech

Of course Playtech took home two awards that night for both their poker and their Playtech bingo sites and for good reason, they know how to provide great sites.

For example sites like Mecca Bingo, amongst others, provide players with tons of great games to play that can keep you occupied for hours.

To start off with there’s their bingo games, these brilliant number matching games in the classic 90, 80 and speedy 75 ball variants. Aside from bingo there are also quite a lot of fun Mecca Bingo slots you can try out, like Spinderella, Prowling Panthers and Thai Flower to cover just a couple of them.

There are also a couple of fun casino games like Roulette, Baccarat, Pontoon and Blackjack for those that like to enjoy a few classic table titles. They even have a small selection of scratchcard and keno games you can try out if you prefer a few fast instant games to get your hands on some extra cash quick.

All of these games are available across all of Playtech’s sites, so you can enjoy your favourite games regardless of the site you use.

Good points of Gamesys

Of course Playtech wasn’t the only gambling software provider to take home an award at the event because Gamesys also took home one for ‘Bingo Operator of the Year’.

For those not familiar with this company, they provide a lot of benefits to players using sites powered by their software.

For example, people who sign up to a Gamesys site can enjoy tons of unique games like Golden Knight and Valkyrie Queen. A great feature of these terrific titles is that you don’t have to download any additional software to play them, so you can get in and access your games quick.

They’re also mobile compatible so you can play any of their games whilst you’re on the go and all their sites are unique.

Since this year’s event had such a great reception by those that attended and was seen as a successful step forward for the industry as a whole it’s going to be exciting to see what 2016’s event brings up.
